Ellie Kraus (she/her), LCSW

My name is Ellie (she/her) and I am a psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Boulder, CO. I am passionate about working with adults, college students, and adolescents and I would be honored to help support you through your therapeutic process. I work virtually with all of my client’s. I offer a non-judgmental space where you are free to express yourself and your vulnerabilities.

It is possible to live a life of gratitude and joy and I would love to support you uncover what that looks like for you. I also understand that therapy can be scary. I believe there is a healthy balance between going towards the fear and finding comfortability while doing so. You may find that through this process that fear is fear and there is growth and joy on the other side of it.

Together we will work to navigate the difficult challenges that life presents. Therapy is not about avoiding challenges, rather it is about evaluating life’s challenges and learning how to respond to them in a meaningful way. I like to make therapy both approachable and comfortable. Through a trauma-focused lens, I integrate both present and future-focused work. I also like to utilize the tool of laughter to keep the energy light when needed. My practice is individualized for the unique needs of each client.

My background as a therapist

I received my B.A. in Psychology and Child Studies from Vanderbilt University. I continued my education and received a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University in New York City.
